In 2010, Randy’s Pianos began offering wholesale priced pianos to a handful of other dealers across the United States. As time went on and we began communicating with these piano dealers on a more personal level, we came to recognize that the piano sales industry was lacking a venue through which dealers could buy and sell to each other at dealer to dealer pricing. There was also no other venue for dealers to send a mass request for a specific piano they may be searching for out to other dealers who might be interested in liquidating that very piano.
Towards the end of 2013, we decided to create this much needed venue and by the beginning of 2014, The Piano Dealer Network was in its early stages.
We began inviting dealers throughout the country to join our list and by the end of 2014 we had a little over 300 dealers participating.
This year, we have decided to expand this network of dealers even farther by inviting technicians and teachers to join us since they are more than likely the first ones who have knowledge of a piano that is about to be offered for sale. We are happy to provide sales comps for these tech’s and teachers to provide them with realistic pricing on what a dealer is generally willing to pay for a specific make/model piano.
